Today fm "On Tour" day 4 !
Another successful event !
Another beautiful day in Mullingar this time, where Mullingar AC ran a great show ! Lovely location with over 600 people. The celebrity guess was Neil Delemare from "The Panel". I never met him before and will definately be watching him more in the future. A gentleman and everybody knows how hard it is for me to take a joke, well he succeeded and made me laugh.
The event itself was a success, and the Today FM team was up early again, preparing the goody bags, banners etc.... The SPAR team was also there as usual making sure people get their Tshirts and sponosred product. Mullingar AC with Bobby leading the team were on the clock and nothing was going to stop the race to start in time. The volunteers, ambulance, garda were like a well maintain clock like a military mission which each details was treated as important which made it a success, congrats to Mullingar AC.
I forgot two important people in the last few days I worked with : Will Hanafin and Alan O'Donohoe. Will is pretty well known for talking on the Ray Darcy show and other media work. A very interesting person to meet easy to approach and to work with.
Alan is the main man behind PH sound System Ltd who provide all the microphones, sound systems and has a very imp[ortant job each day to make sure the sound is perfect from any angles and to work with such a professional with extensive experience of big show is a great experience. I admire the way he just came after his own set up each day and help everybody out what ever the task is about. The kind of man you want to have the work done in time and perfectly.
Ray Darcy today was in great form. You might think it just play a public role, but the truth is that he is a very positive and naturally in good humor everyday.
Jenny Kelly was also running today, I never met her before and I really appreciate when after the race, Ray and Jenny went around taking time to talk to everybody involve in this massive organisation. It's their show after all but you can see they appreciate the work around done around them.
The finale is tomorrow, hope to make it a great day with the all the crews !
